I brimmed my duet tank only ridden about
7.10 miles
Filled it to today for a trip tomorrow and it's
Taken 5 litres of fuel
No leaks so can't work out why

I'm assuming a duet tank is the same as a dual tank ?

These double tanks can get air locked and you may think you have filled it when you haven't. I suspect you "filled" the tanks but didn't let them settle, the level then drops suddenly when riding.

A lad who rides with us has dual tanks and his fill ups vary considerably to the rest of us.

I've known some Lambrettas that are a bit thirsty, but just over 7 miles per gallon takes some beating.
