just fitted sip speedo pulse cable

just fit the new pulse speedo sender and thought i would share my setup fitted to my ac special you fit it as you would the normal speedo end and connect the the other end to the actual speedo connection it says set to pulse 6 instead of 0.77 fitted the rest of speedo temp /fuel/button all worked as i set it up on the bench with a 12v battery also a sip wheel fitted with 3/50/10 s1 tyre worked out at 1304 tyre circumfrence whent for a spin and it was running 10/12mph faster than my sat nav changed to pulse 7 got to 4mph changed to pulse8 and spot on with sat nav it works great ands alot easier than trying to setup the senser and its great having a speedo that i no is correct speed

all working I must admit that all the complications everyone else went through setting these up and putting it on this forum made it easy for me

None just the cable screw in as normal at the bottom and connects to Speedo on appropriate connection and set to pulse 6 setting mine up with sat nav I ended on pulse8 to get the ratio speed correct

No torbay lambretta and lambretta upgrades sell them £29 they work great it cuts out all the magnet brackets easy to set-upTimbo wrote:Gary i’m a bit confused, so the pulse cable doesn’t use the magnet on the wheel?
