Seriously though, looks like a points stator likely 6v.

It's a Dansi 6v AC stator.

cheers fire. do you know just through experience? No good for a S3 then?

The coils and wire colours from them identify it as 6v, non battery.
If you wish to run points ignition, 6v lighting then yes, as it was designed for the series 3.
