Finally almost finished my LI125 restomod but have a few niggles to sort:

1.Gear change is very stiff and reluctant to go into first. Helps if I roll it forward while changing.

2. Have a Kytronic 2.5 fitted can't seem to get a spark when set to zero ie passthrough but good spark on other curves such as no 7.

3. It's possible to push the headlamp back in its housing slightly is this normal or have I missed a bit?

4. It seem impossible to get the kickstart rubber to stay on the lever. Tried some glue but doesn't seem to help.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Cheers

Tippo

There should be a wire clip which connects the lamp to the rim at the top.

Evostick should sort your kickstart rubber.

I'm having trouble with my kickstart rubbers as well.....been using 2 or 3 a year (they just go missing !!).

tried Evostick, gripfill, pinkgrip, silicone, tie wraps, etc.

I'm now thinking of getting a couple of lines of weld on it to help it grip.

I've seen an odd one with a bolt and large penny washer, which may be a solution.

Can't you build up the pedal with Duck Tape and then stick the rubber on? Works for me.

Definitely your headlight shouldn't move like that. There is a clip come loose. Or you've lost a pin. In which case it's stuffed.
