Stuck/Seized Mag Housing... Any Tips??

Patience ! ,plus gas and lots of heat on casing (with a heat gun preferably),dont try to lever off you will damage the sealing face ,dont hit the crank from drive side as it will only go so far then do more damage

I agree that it may cause more damage if you don't keep rotating the crank, but if you do, it will come out straight and do no harm other than to your crank.

Thanks to all for the replies... after soaking it in plus gas overnight I set about heating the case & hammering on the crank... very slow process & my ears are still ringing, but the housing came off in the end!
