Can anybody tell me which is richer at 0 to 1/4 throttle when fitted to a PHBH30 Dellorto carb?
An X13 needle on top clip in an AV264 atomizer or an X13 needle on top clip in an AS266 atomizer.
PHBH needle atomizer combination

From memory AV s are shorter than AS so are richer than the same number AS.
The higher the number the richer the jet.
So as your AS is higher than the AV they could be around the same.

arguably they could well be about the same overall, but I would say that the av is slightly richer in the range the op stated, ie 0 to 1/4 throttle
the reason for the slightly shorter av is that it will let more fuel through sooner as the needle rises.
However, im hoping this isnt a step in your jetting, going from av264 to a as266 with needle at same levels not the best idea.
Be methodical and start with the needle clip at the bottom clip ie richest and work down
after all we could be wrong!
