Im running a JL3 road on my muggy 225.Its was frikin loud so I made a new muffler which took 6 decibels off the noise. What exhaust is the quietest in your experience? The franspeeds seem pretty quiet I guess because they are made from thicker steel.

The noise is formed intially by gas and pressure and that's governed by your set up and how much is passing through your engine, so ports would effect that. Stick an 18mm carb on. That would soon quiet it down. :D

Any exhaust that lessens your chances of being heard by gormless car drivers gets a firm thumbs down from me.
