Guys, any idea what 200 engine case was fitted with the normal engine mounts like you normally get on a 150 cc engine ?? we are just trying to work it out
AND whether you can just merely change these for the bigger type ?
Thanks

possibly TV - you should be able to change them for longer ones
It is possible someone fitted short mounts to any casing

None, to my knowledge. Yes, you can change these to the larger mounts but you need to change the frame cones and bolt at the same time.

Thanks............the casing had a GP endplate in it, but with the usual engine mounts it threw me. Also it has slight, minor wear damage, to the aluminium inside the case on the rounded bit that goes round the crank web (centre of case) where the crank rotates round, but not on the drive side oil seal face, presume that's ok

Providing there is no cracking through the casing, which can happen if a big end bearing or eye goes, wear to this area will not give any issue. Indeed, it is quite normal to remove metal from here to aid fitting and rotation of long stroke cranks.

Somebody swapped the mounts.
We're all going to Amiens, about 20 of us but very concerned about the unrest there and fuel shortages.

^...A number of my club went to the RGC Little Brittany rally and they really struggles to find fuel on the way back, passing lots of petrol stations that had run out and were closed.
