id be interested in the casing if you decide to sell.
i would fit your intended top end and leave cylinder head nuts loose,then get someone to rotate the engine while you gently nip up the head nuts to your torque settingsthen check engine turns freely with no tight spots,there will be a bit of play on the little end to piston fit,so this should accomodate any misalignement in the 9 o,clock to 3 o'clock plain,if you get what i mean,6 to 12 wont be a issue,go for it.

Weld blobs to the O.D. of the cylinder liner and then skim down the blobs concentric to the bore, in a lathe, a thou or so below the crankcase bore diameter. That would work.
