Mugello 186, best set up.

Got an LI 125, looking to put a Mugello 186 on, wanting to know what you guys are running in yours, looking for reliable touring engine ?

Li 150 gearbox with 16x46 sprockets bgm clubman and 30mm delorto. Great cruising set up at 60 mph, will touch 70.

I run a 186 on a series 2 Tv 175 casing 15/46 gearing Tv/Sx box, clubman, 28 dellorto open mouthed. Pulls really well in all gears, not sure what the cruising speed is with the lambretta speedo lol.

I did run it for a while on a standard crank but wouldn't recommend this. It gave up the ghost at Keswick on the return journey on this years C2c. Have now upgraded to a long rod Harry Barlow crank/Pro porting.

Save some money, go up to 16 on the front sprocket and a 22mm will be enough. Any Clubman will work.
