My knowledge on lambretta engines is very limited.
I wish i was as knowledgable as you guys.
Reading the literature on this engine case it does not mention the gear box.
Or have i miss-read it.
If i was to design an engine case i would make it slightly wider to accomodate a new 6 speed gear box.
It would have to be a new designed and manufactured gearbox. A gearbox that can be fitted easily without cameras and that did not have thin gears that were prone to loosing teeth.

However it sounds very good.

£500 seems like a very reasonable price, similar coin to the Quattrini smallframe cases and a bit less than the Pinasco Lardy items. First glance also shows there's plenty of scope for options.

Suddenly all those hoarded 200 cases have dropped in value!

Seriously though, this is impressive news. Fingers crossed we could all have almost new engines!
