firstly has anyone done this conversion and if so is it worth the faff? secondly what size are the bearings and how many do you need?
I do this with mine and it makes the steering/turning smoother. I use the ball bearings out of the steering race but I buy an extra one so that I have more ball bearings.

I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
The top bearing are 1/8 and bottom are 1/4. I buy mine from a push bike shop, costs about £4 to do a scooter.

I prefer to use metric sizes as that's what was in there originally.blue wrote:The top bearing are 1/8 and bottom are 1/4. I buy mine from a push bike shop, costs about £4 to do a scooter.
Did you have to do that?
