to tighten the 3 wheel nuts on a standard disc brake Lambretta?
The front wheel on my TV175 S3 leans very slightly to the near side. Now I know I'm probably looking at replacing the fork buffers and making sure the springs are seated to the correct and equal distance, but I'm sure I've read somewhere that there is a correct sequence to tighten the two spindle nuts and the third lock nut to counteract any lean.
Or did I imagine it?
Any thoughts Gents?

I tighten the spindle nuts then the third nut , but this shouldnt make any difference if you wheel is leaning , I think you need to look at you springs , rods and buffers.
When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !
I also seem to remember reading in one of the older manuals there is a sequence, could be well wrong but seem to recall it was, near side first then the anchor bolt then the off side spindle nut.
Am now off to double check, not sure if/how much difference it actually makes though!

Just checked old 'official manual' it says- off side, then near side then anchor bolt/nut.

thanks Gents- thought I read something somewhere!
I'll try the sequence(s) but it probably is related to springs/ rods, or more likely worn bottom rubbers.

I've seen a sequence somewhere too.
Only know as a few weeks ago had a knocking front hub, and did a quick search.
Of course can't find it now.
Seem to think might have been on the USA Lambretta website
Do remember a couple of things :- for a standard front hub tightening one way stopped the knocking where the fork link has a sloppy fit into the slot in the hub (worked for me)
Also remember the sequence was the opposite way for a disk hub

now sorted- was worn lower buffers.
Replaced buffers and "lean" has gone away.
The fact that I initially replaced the axel the wrong way round didn't help matters!! (see my "muppet" post!)
