Just built my 1st TS1 engine and would like some advice on what jets etc I should be using to start off with (plug chops will be done). I have had a look on the carb set up page but the only one I can see that may be similar has a follow on msg from dan stating it looks lean on needle and atomiser.
The following is my set up:-
TS1 top end (cs tuned)
58/110 crank
Li 150 box with 16x46
AF cassette clutch
D Taylor V force 3 inlet
static ign set to 16*
TSR Evo pipe
Delly 30pbbh
Any advice would be appreciated.

Similar set up as me. Same carb. I've got a 160 main jet. 55 idle I think X7 needle. Spot on. Ride hard and long with no problems. Nice plug chops. Damp outer chocolate colour dry inner. As it should be.plug chops tell you two things. Outer is the mix. Inner is the temperature your running at....

I run a std untuned TS1 kit fitted with a 28mm PHBH (with adj powerjet) and a Franspeed Supertourer, was running really well but had it set up by John at JB Tuning and came away with the following carb settings.
MJ 135 (132 with PJ open 1/4 turn), Pilot 56, X13 (not sure of clip position but will check tonight), AV266. Ignition set to 17BTDC. now runs even better than before Dyno. Andy
