Find a steel bar that is a snug fit in the track, heat up casing and fill the track with grease then fit the bar and hit it with a hammer. Hydraulic pressure usually forces it out. Sticky's book shows how. Cluster can be repaired with a sleeve.

Blind bearing puller and a little heat. Comes right out.

I found the repair to be more expensive than the cost of a second hand cluster

Is there a lip or gap behind the bearing race to get a blind bearing tool in ?

Yes and there is a washer behind the race. Don't loose it.

If I have time this week I'll try to youtube a video of it.
