I have a mikuni 35 fitted at present on an fettled TS1 set up, pretty happy with the running of it as it is set up quite rich. I was talking to a mate lately who mentioned that the lean spot in mid range on the mikuni's can be ironed out using a power jet. Is this true and what make/ size power jet is recommended?

Run it at mid-range and plug chop it. Might not be a problem.

I was on the understanding that the power jet kicked in after the main jet (after mid range) ? But I may be wrong :?

The power jet is designed to kick in from 3/4 to WOT and is supposed to allow you to run a leaner main to clean up the mid range.

The combination of PJ and main should equal the approximate main that your engine needs without a power jet.
