It appears that the suggested chain length for 46/19 sprockets is one of 82 links.
However, I'm wondering if I should buy an 81 or 82 link chain for this set-up because I have been running 47/19 gearing with an 82 link chain and it's baggier than a Charlatans fan. It is stretched as the old 47 tooth crownwheel has been wobbling but even taking that into account I'd think a new 82er would be pretty slack on 46/19 gearing. I know I could buy a pull down chain tensioner but I'm happy with the nylon guide I'm using, and there's nowt wrong with it.
Anyone running 46/19, and if so what chain length?

ya chain is stretched , buy an IWIS 42 link and all will be good.
Cheers. IWIS defo worth the extra bunce? I'm fitting a new 46 tooth crownwheel and sorting any excess movement with a shim between the spider and crownwheel.
