perhaps I've got my exhaust bolted on upside down...
well I've put them on now, round side down, spring washer, bit of Loctite, and a wire through the drilled thread, that should do it oh and a bent over chain tensioner tab. lol

sorry you should be more clear, round side against the welded flange with the hex side facing up toward the end of the stud

I decided to put mine on the inlet manifold studs instead................
