Chain guides,pros and cons?
I am thinking of a push up,no reason other than i think it will give the chain an easier life :?:

I use the Jockeys Boxenstop one without a lower guide. Always works, never had a problem.

I've used a pull down one for years with no bottom guide with no problems, means you have more adjustment and can use a longer chain, the tension is on the bottom so just the slack at top.
