Chain guides,pros and cons?
I am thinking of a push up,no reason other than i think it will give the chain an easier life
Pull down or push up?
I got a scootrs push up one andthe bottom slippy nylon one guess what didnt fit ..
actually I cut a few bits here and there then it did for what it cost was ok

I use the Jockeys Boxenstop one without a lower guide. Always works, never had a problem.
I've used a pull down one for years with no bottom guide with no problems, means you have more adjustment and can use a longer chain, the tension is on the bottom so just the slack at top.
