series 2 panel buffers

where do the series 2 panel buffers fit looked on my spanish but cant work out where they go
over the footboard legs, so a bit of liquid soap and new panel buffer rubbers are the best advice, they stretch over with the footboards off the thin end going first.
nos usually just tear, ( being 50+years old and harder than Mike Tyson).
