I've recently fitted an Oiltek tank and I'm delighted with it, very simple to fit, it hangs from the two airs-coop bolts on the frame loop and is braced against the plate at the back frame where the frame tube is attached to the seat loop at the back of the tank and has one further support beneath the tank which attaches the the airbox mounting bracket on the frame tube.

It's a piece of cake to fit, its a quality built piece of kit and you shouldn't have any issue with the carb fouling the tank on a SM, the cut-out is pretty spacious.

I'd highly reccommend it.

Aren't they just a copy of the Diablo tank ??
TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

Get in touch with Lloyd Watts on Facebook. He's knocking out some cracking tanks lately. Made to measure and pretty good value as well.
