tyres ! what are your recommendations

Looking for some new tyres for the Lis150 as it arrived with 2 very old hard mismatched tyres .

I like what I read about the Michelin S1 and the Sava MC18 tyres but for use in the Countryside where the roads are usually wet muddy and full of holes what would you recommend ?

I don't care if they are soft and don't last too long as I doubt I'll be doing more than 500 fair weather miles a year .

Nobody in their right mind would recommend Scwalbe, go with the Sava.

Sava are great tyres[mc18 and mc20]. I'm using Heidenau k61 and Continental twist sport on the 2 scoots I have on the road currently. Made some terrible choices/errors in tyres in recent years myself. Michelin si are not the best in the wet or on rough road surface or mud,but better than some out there. If you are just pootling around,not going mega distance and yer roads are muddy,dusty and pot holed to high heaven,then maybe an older style tread pattern. Michelin sm100 or the older Continental K something or other perhaps would be a fair choice.

Nobody in their right mind would buy Weathermans. Schwalbe are completely discredited as a tyre manufacturer as far as I'm concerned. Far too many horror stories of tyres de-laminating and it's just a wonder nobody has been seriously injured as a result. I quite like S1's I must admit. Although, they are only rated up to 62 MPH. Probably your best bet would be Continental as they are generally good all round tyres.
