What's the best clutch out there Reedspeed AF race or road LTH MB and so on . At the moment I have a MB deep crown wheel with 5 green plates done about 2000 miles on it but it's starting to slip at high speed so I think it's time for a upgrade so the question is which one . Any thoughts or recommendations will be greatly received Thanks Poppygun

What engine/gearing are you running?
You've put better springs in, haven't you?

AF race, take the old one out, put the AF in and forget about it. The action takes a while to get used too, but once mastered, it's a great clutch.

It all depends on your engine spec. There's no need to spend more than £100 on anything under 20BHP in my opinion. You can get a Readspeed 5 plate kit for £50 and you can still use all your other standard clutch parts. I'd swap over the supplied springs for MB ones (personal preference) and you'll have a lovely light clutch for very little money. Add the cost of a new clutch cable, oil and chain case gasket and you'll have change from £100. Why over egg the pudding when there's no need to?
Rocho's clutches are great but NO longer available for a while and also the LTH 7 plate is a fantastic clutch would have to say the best on the market IMO.
