ok lads let's get back to my very business: doing a 200 barrel in an o-tuning way. It means for those who're not aware of german freakwerk: use a standard top end and try to get a huge load of extra power only with a few tools and patience. Classic and already seen some would say. Yeah but always a virgin pleasure....
This old barrel is rusty to the bone and will need a reboring. I'll keep a close-to-standard bore to have enough wall meat to dig extra boost ports above inlet.

let's begin:

I love threads like this, taking a old school standard top-end and giving it a tweak, not as funky or controversial as a super Monza :D but still shows what can be done and gives people like me a basic tips and idea's to teak up my standard lammy top end. 8-)

My pleasure mates....
Still in progress. I'm gonna dremel it till the sun almost shines through... I want the biggest ports as possible. It remembers me one of my earlier works: a px 125 o-tuning barrel:

What I like is you starting with a genuine factory barrel, which many pay good money for use on restos, whereas you've decided to grind it out, rather than cash it in! I like your style :)

I've been told factory barrels were better than sh.ty Madras... Anyway I'm carefully watching those sources d'inspiration:

I guess i'll mix both of them to get a 3 boost port coming from inlet window. Just need to know where ring pegs are fitted... Anyone has a pic of a 66-67 mm after market piston?
