I think there's some overall confusion over which batch is which.
As I understand it there's no problem with the first lot, the second batch had a redesigned cluster which if I remember correctly had problems with the pressed on gears slipping. These were recalled and replaced.
The OP said that his had been replaced as part of the recall so that would suggest that it's one of the latest ones.
Perhaps somebody might post a definitive list of the relevant stampings / numbers to clarify the situation?

So, effectively batch 3, same as what they're sending out with the current kits?

Sorry I can't help with that question as I didn't check the markings once it happened I just wanted to get the parts back to Rimini ASAP and Rimini has it now so I'm unable to find out
