Where To Put SIP Speedo Box

It's always tight under the headset what with extra bits & bobs like hydraulic hose extra earths and wiring for gauges etc., the SIP speedo's bulky wiring doesn't help, but where do you put the rather space consuming black box? particularly on a Spanish Series 2, can it go under the horncasting, or elsewhere? Any pics will help.

Like you I felt it was too crowded in the headset so I decided to fit it under the horncasting (series 3).
As I fitted it at the bottom I needed to extend the cable, an easy job with some multicore cable and shrinkrap from the electronics store.

I used the extension provided and popped it near the usual CDI / Reg position. I felt that I've got to remove this panel anyway to check wires etc should anything go amiss?
