Got a friend who's looking for a good touring kit.The criteria it needs to meet is that it has to run a box pipe and also a carb through the air box. Also it's a jet 200 with airbox in the toolbox. He is after something that pulls a little better than his indian factory four up hill, but not necessarily faster top end.Good mpg is also a factor required. He was looking at the MBGM RT225 kit,but this kit was mentioned.Any help would be appreciated folks as all I know is that it uses 150 stud spacings on the inlet. Many thanks, cheers,Speedy.

I'm sure that there's a dyno plot for one on here somewhere. I do remember quoting that it'd probably be a lovely scooter to ride as iirc it produces it's peak power around 5,000 rpm and peak torque was possibly at even lower revs.

How much are they?

What about a stage 5 honda (or suzi) 205 kit?

According to this months Scootering there is a 'new' CASA 225 for 200 casings (and small block) about to be launched. The old ones you should avoid as the pistons slap like crazy in them due to a manufacturing cock-up, Scootopia withdrew them from sale as a result.

Yeah I seen the new kits in the mag, reedvalve jobs like ts1/rb and Monza set up.Thanks for the input.Wasn't hoping to hear that to be honest about the 210.That's a lot of money for a kit and the piston to slap.He may now have to rethink his options dramatically at that. Trouble is there aren't that many large block options for a airbox and clubman that are gonna work that well and give good mpg,are there?
