Mikuni TM 28mm Carbs off TZR..??
Ive been offered two TZR Mikuni, TM 28mm Carbs.. These are 30 degree down draft carbs.... anyone ever fitted one of these to a Lambretta.... Ive never run a Mikuni on mine, let alone these.... If its free and it works I will take one... If not I will give it a miss.....Anyone... ...
Jamesp from the LCGB forum has quite a bit of experience using these carbs, he put together the following guide to converting and using them on a lambretta:

I have a TM28 i am planning to use in the near future, James suggested the following jetting as a starting point:
"Main jet: 190-210
Pilot jet: 25-30
Needle jet/atomiser: O5-P0 (169-series)
Slide: 2.0-2.5
Needle: 5D6 (start on pos.3)
Settings in the above ranges have worked well for me on half a dozen engines, from 190 Stage 4 to 225 Stage 5 (all with Clubman-type exhausts or "touring" expansion chambers)."
The 5EJ11 needle also seems popular on Lambretta applications, the WCLW website also has some useful info:

Hope this helps

I'm using one that JamesP converted for me on my SR185 (which he also built). Can't recommend it enough! Download the detailed instructions posted above from James' website and all your questions shall be answered.
