what oil you using? in your af clutches? i was only going on experiance with my mates jet200, i would like to think that hes routed it badly cos they do look a nice bit of kit and affordable

i have an af road clutch in my ts1 i run with standard gear oil although some people use a lighter oil, my clutch is very light nylon cable and dog leg lever a top clutch m8
andy francis website says af cassette clutch road "new version"
is there a modified/updated/better version to the older ones available?
if so are they more reliable/better?

Sorry to revive this old thread!! But?
Which clutch is it that one recommends then for higher BHP lambrettas ?
My TS-1 230 with 6plates & atomic deep spider/pressure plate & std crownwheel notched for the 1st cork is slipping bigtime at 50+
Was fine b4 I altered my drive sprocket from 19 to 20 ??

What do you call high hp?
Af cassette is not my choice, lth is good as is bgm one as I've recently fitted to avanti sprinter .
You can run st 4plate with right springs and prob get 2 years out of it as fond on our Rt @ 27hp motor.

High HP is IMO TS1 RB20 220 250 etc etc m8
