exhaust fitment muggy to cylinder

Is a muggy 186 cylinder the same as a standard iron barrel for fitting exhaust flange??

If its a recent version ie a V4 kit then no not by a long shot. The recent Mugellos have the exhaust gasket face around 15mm further away from the piston skirt than standard (when the cylinder is fitted the exhaust gasket is 15mm closer to the ground than standard, it was done to aid gas flow out of the cylinder). This can make exhaust fitment a real bitch,see MBs comments about the Mugellos on the BGM clubman thread.
If you meant is the exhaust gasket the same type/shape as standard then yes :D
