Just asked the wife and only tights with a comfort gusset and/or reinforced toe will be enough to completely filter your fuel.Hope this helps. :D

While I was stripping the engine down I found the exhaust half full of petrol ??
This has now totally confused me , my fault finding skills are out the window.
The petrol was turned off and there was a puddle under the scoot from the exhaust stub I think .

The scoot is telling me something and I can`t work it out.
Any help appreciated

Sure, float needle jet needs drilling out,did mine to 3mm.Possible float height adjustment required too.
My motor tried to nip up with this carb, luckily its iron so it did that way before it thought about holing the piston.

Its a stage 6 pwk .....a better quality pwk copy :)
The float height seems fine and I checked the reeds which were fine too. I`ll go in and drill the needle jet out .
Its up and running now and just checked the timing which is 18 deg spot on,
Just waiting for my new tank to arrive.
Still confused by all the petrol in the exhaust though ????? a good half pint sitting in it ???
