Can anyone who has a CHT sensor fitted UNDER THEIR SPARK PLUG please post up their temp readings range.
Only interested in readings from sensors under the spark plug or on top of the spark plug. not on a fin. but if you do have a sensor fitted to a fin please post those readings too.

Lambrettas are for life!
Mines on top of the plug but even when cold the sip speedo temp reads 130 deg but rises to 190ish maybe upto 205 deg around town , if I could reset the base line temp then maybe I could give a proper reading ive no idea how to reset the speedo or even if its possible I did disconnect it for 2 days in a hope it would revert to factory settings but alas no !

290-320f. Stays around 320 for those hot day light to light rides. Anything over 320 and the bike starts to feel like it needs a break and cool down.
My question is does anyone else have issue with their plug coming loose? I had to remove the plug crush washer so it would thread to the correct depth with the temp ring. Now I have to tighten it almost every ride. SIP set up on a RT top end.

I take some meat out of the head from around the plug so that the shoulder of the sensor ring can sit down properly, there isn't enough room in the standard plug seat recess for the ring to fit into on most Lambretta heads.

I did that with my head too.
funny thing is that I ran a temp gauge I bought of Darrell T. and now have fit a SIP speedo and its feeler ring.
The one from Darrell read 205 C at full whack but the SIP one is reading 45/50 C less at the same sort of speeds.
