Just acquired an RB225 with Franspeed pipe & tmx35. It put out 26bhp on the Dyno but has just one the crank.
I looking for options to make it a very fast street engine. Would ideally like it to do a genuine 90+ mph so may need to change gearbox. It is running 18-47 gearing on a LI150 gearbox at the mo.
All options/idea welcome..

go 17 47
youll need some serious power to crack 90+ on full bodied without wind or downhill on your side expect youll need 38-40 bhp to achieve it

What would the best options for tuning be, weld and port the cases, then tune the barrel to suit?
what about the crank, long stroke/short stroke and what are the advantages over each other?
cheers

no welding needed at all to get high power figures ,go stroke to 62 if your spending then maximise the cc to get best power/torque
a good cyl tune is essential for high power output
