Old barrell
Just dug an old 200 barrell out from the back of the shed, promised it to a mate. On closer inspection its engraved with MJP TUNED - Joe Proctor 2/79. I know its a long shot but wondered if it rang any bells with anyone?

sorry not guilty, this is the carlisle gang michael john patterson, as well as mickek exhausts andy francis was also a test pilot with the 70s race team!
i borrowed a cylinder of mjp that had a liner fitted out of a morris 8 ,mick said it was crap but would put me on ,i broke the record at curborough and held it for quite a while! the barrel boasted 7 ports,i used this on the road for a while it was quick but thirsty.
last i heard of mjp he was working in derby for pirelli tyres,
regards
joe
the 2/79 could be the date i last fitted it!
