Been having a think about cdi's going bad on Lammy's.
On a P range, the cdi is mounted with the bracket that bolts onto the flyside of case, utilising those little rubber buffers. Now, take the cost of that set up times however many P's were put on the road. It'll be loadsamoney. Piaggio wouldn't be spending that money unless there was a reason.
Most of us are mounting cdi's directly to brackets(or frame) on a motors(Lammy's) that have loads more vibes than a P.
Doesn't it stand to reason that if we were mounting them Piaggio style somehow that cdi's might not fail as often?
Thoughts please.
Already have a patent application in, so step away from the drawing board ya buggers

1. You fooked any chance of a patent application because you made the idea public - no proof of authenticity.
2. As stated vespa already thought of it
