Uprated springs - which way do they go in

HELP - Just got some uprated springs for the front forks in my GP, thing is which way do they go in, with the tightly wound part of the spring at the top or bottom? :bouncyeng:

to be honest ,i dont have a deffinative answer to this..............
but so long as they are both fitted the same way ...........i can,t think it would make much difference.............
others may help and advise further.................so please await further responses ..........
i could be wrong but would be inclined to fit them so the weaker coils are at the bottom...........................
