depends if your doing a concourse resto or an ordinary get it on the road jobby
you really wont see them with all the panels on but if an anorak were to buy your scooter the pet lip may come out if described as original lol!

Not bothered bout resto stuff .. but the Ali ones can be easier to release for cable replacement etc.

Good point Squeakmillward, preservation of value leans towards ally though something about pleasing potential anorak buyers just makes me want to go all plastic......

Plastic all the way for me. I also use them to hold the panel buffers on instead of the akward metal clips.
