Does anyone know who makes the Lambretta stand which fits in the hole where the standard stand fits, but has a lever fitted to lift the scooter? Its a neat bit of kit .

I modified an old scissor jack if you weld an old 3/8 socket onto it you can use it with a ratchet works well and is cheapImage

whilst I appreciate the adaption of an old scissor jack, I think I'm missing something.

The original Lambretta stand (I assume we are talking about the one that slots into the crankcase and allows you to raise the rear wheel off the ground), is small and works well- it also fits neatly into the tool roll in the tool box.

What does the scissor jack give you in addition?

No not a paddock stand, but does the same job and thats what I need it for. It fits under the crankcase in the hole as the usual standard lambretta stand does.It has a lever attached to a small frame that lifts up the rear wheel.More stable than the standard stand.
