TS1 230 JB Stage 2 tune, 35mm Mikuni, Franspeed Race pipe, Li150 box 16/46 - 27bhp.
Motorway use @ 75-80 mph = 6/7 miles per litre.
Around town use suspect more like 10/12 miles per litre.

Haven't got a working speedo, so bit of a guess - but base my figures on my sat nav app on my phone.
Adding the price of the oil into things makes the old girl an expensive ride!!.

All calculated during rally runs 45-55mph constant speeds.

175, sh1/20, stock pipe(two up n fully loaded).....70mpg

Suzuki 190, mikuni tm24, indian big bore....50mpg

190(suzuki piston in a ser 1 barrel to give stock-ish timings), keihen 28, indian big bore....50mpg

i didn't know there was gonna be a test on this, or i would have kept more accurate records on all my other top end set ups. :) On rally weekends i could more accurately tell you how many miles per beer I needed.

Although not current, I had a GP150 (real, not indion) top end on a spanish 150 engine, 20mil carb and a standard exhaust, that Simon Farrel built.
It did 135mpg at a steady 50mph riding to Gt Yarmouth one year. That was early morning, which probably helped a bit.

I'm running a Rapido 225 classic with the following set up;
26mm PHBH with remote air filter,PM25 exhaust,PM Tuning X-Tech 58mm Crankshaft and SX200 gearing.
It only produces 14 BHP at the rear wheel, but cruises nicely at 55-65 MPH (GPS) and averages 60 MPG. :D

Good MPG figures = Faggot

My advice is to ride it like you stole it and stop fannying about.
