12v conversion.

You could post the stator of to Beedspeed who could rewire it with new points and condensor but upgrade the lighting to 12V.Fit a modern full wave bridge rectifier inside the gutted out rectifier box a 12v hooter and battery and bulbs and you're away.

indeed you could also fit the lighting coils from a donor px/pk/t5 stator to your stator giving you 12v, and with a regulator rectifier its very easy to do, a new set of points and your good to go, i wouldnt worry about a 6v horn on 12 volt it will work fine

Yes but at least some quality control was involved in the production of it unlike Injun stators.

Although the "Injuns", did at least, fit eyelets to their coil holders for a mechanical fixing. It looks like scootrs just twisted the coil ends together, soldered and left the joint hanging in mid air. :o
