Harry has made two types of close ratio tree, both with the same number of teeth... 11, 13,( not 14 as previously said) 16, 18. The billet tree is intended for street motors as it uses the common loose gears from the sx/gp 150 and a 36 tooth 4th gear from the gp200.The billet tree uses the larger 50tooth 1st gear 117.5 diameter, the common 42 tooth 2nd gear, the 39 tooth 3rd gear ( this will need checking for size as this gear varies in diameter... from 100.2 to 100.7mm ! are there two types? I wonder...the webbo book says not... but you need the smaller diameter to work . The old MSC close ratio tree has faithfully been copied as this gives the full size 11 tooth and 13 tooth 1st and 2nd gears on the tree,(spanish 150) the billet tree has corrected tooth profiles to match the larger gears ( 50 and 42) also the MSC cr tree is closer 2nd to 3rd which is better for the track, or that extra stubborn peaky motor! both types of tree have been cryoed for extra strength, prices are 175 pounds for the billet tree and 225 pounds for the MSC close ratio tree, coming soon is the 36 tooth gp 4th loose gear, again cryoed and stronger than original, this will compliment the trees already produced. If you have a spanish 150 tree, or a pacemaker tree with a damaged 3rd/ 4th... Harry needs them... don't bother with the contact email on the home page...it won't get to him, call him on 0116 2871285.

The first batch of 10 have all gone... Harry raced an engine with one in at Elvington, hard launches on the eighth mile, the engine was then dynoed with no problems, kit was a standard customer pro225cc making around 23 rwhp, 18 ftlbs. It was also very nice to ride on the road because it is close ratio.

So.... Is this right?

Street = 11/50,13/42,16/39, 18/36

MSC replica = 11/50, 13/41, 16/39, 18/36

Harry is usually at Wicksteed, I'm sure he'll have some there.

Tony,

do you say we can use the same ProPorting tree 11/13/16/18 for 50/42/39/36 and 50/41/39/36 loose gears ??

This than gives Street or MSC Repilca gearing ?

Is this right ?

I'm not sure - I was trying to establish the options myself from Turbovans post.

I've got a 14T 2nd gear programmed into the visualiser which now looks like it wrong, so I was just trying to clarify before I update.

At £175/£250 just for a 4-speed tree, it's hard to see how this can compete with the Cyclone.

perhaps anybody can ask Harry Balows for a commend ?

My question is if the tree with 11/13/16/18 theeths

can be used with 50/42/39/36 and 50/41/39/36 loose gears?
