Ricspeed,
I like the idea of a new casing being produced, with scope for a bigger cylinder mouth, stud placings, larger crank, crankcase induction etc. but would also think the clutch area of the casing could be made to allow for a bigger/wider clutch.
Super Monza, is this what we've been waiting for?
Old Lambretta's never die, they get tuned..................

Yes Eden but even taking the scale into consideration, these two graphs look very different to me

Yes, but Gaz, whilst that's good performance, I very much doubt it'll ride anything like the SM. I keep saying that it's not the peak figures that make it special it's the area under the graph, I've never seen a Lambretta torque curve like that, soon to be proven wrong by Chris, yet people still come on and say I got 30 this and 20 that and it didn't cost anywhere near a SM, it's just ridiculous to make these comparisons.rbgaz wrote:im not in anyway knocking the s/m just saying what i got for me money as opposed to the cost of a s/msoulsurfer wrote:Hmmm

im sure all these barrels and configurations are good in their own way.very impressed by the advances in Lammy parts over the last few years and by the amount of time and effort people have put into rivals to the all conquering TS1.I really don't care about dyno graphs, i see a nice scoot pass me on the A roads or motorways at a faster warp speed and spend the next few hours wanting one of those.I think i spend more time lusting over Lambretta barrels on the internet now than porn,i need to break this habit and go back to tuning the missus's exhaust port. I'll see who gets the highest figures at the scootershoot out in front of my eyes this year and then put my hand in my pocket for my next engine build.

wise words .. i for one cant wait and it would be a bad move for any tuner not to compete for that reason alonealcoholic maniacs sc wrote:I'll see who gets the highest figures at the scootershoot out in front of my eyes this year and then put my hand in my pocket for my next engine build.
