Hope someone can help me with this. Im rebuilding my series 2 and replacing all badges.
What is the best (right) way of fixing the legshield badges?

I havent received them yet from Rimini but seriously want to avoid damaging the new spray job, is using glue an avoidable option?

Cheers

I use round speed clips so if you need to get the badges off again all you need to do is pop the clip off ,if you want original looks then you will have to buy a crimp tool (don't use glue its a big no no).

I have found only one glue to be successful and that's Loctite Superglue GEL, not the runny stuff, GEL! I use it on legshields, side panels, even side panel flashes. You can touch it in on the back of the legshields too ;-)

I use a panel hammer and dolly.tape badge into blace with masking tape.also tape off behind the badge, lugs poking through.i then hold dolly on badge and tap the lugs flat with a convex rounded panel hammer.always works well for me.use a couple of layers of masking tape if need be.otherwise the tools you can get are a good alternative.
