This is possibly be why some of us are getting such poor milage from these tyres.
With this information I will try a rear next time.

the problem is they don't do the rear version only for 10 inch wheels, but the tyres we are using are for both front and rear use.

i know 12 inch does the rear only version as i have seen it on a gts, the only difference is the centre groove is removed
My guess is that having a central grove will enable the rubber to move around more and develop more heat to produce the grip.
Great for the front but not so good for the back that already has enough forces at work to create the heat.
Sadly it looks like we are being sold the product again.

Great tyre, used them on my RB for 2 years, very sticky compound, definately worth a try

You should buy these only from a reputable dealer. There were a few fake K61's going around at the Motorcykle Byzarre here in Poland last summer.

looking for tyres for the sprinter, do these do slicks at all??

yes heidenau do, do slick versions, i think sip scooters sell them

cheers MCH!! WSP have put an advert out on f/b with the sip tubeless rims with their 'performer' tyre fitted,read the write up's, might go for these.
