Cheers for the reply ron, I'll have a play around with it. Hopefully I can find a good set up using the 266.

It's a fantastic kit, I absolutely love riding it. Hopefully I won't bugger it up ;)

Just had a tear up with a mate on the country lannes on my Avanti and it seem to be running rather well.. The top speed GPS was 82.9 which is 7mph faster at that spot than when running 4.6 gearing... I'm pretty chuffed considering this is a off the shelf barrel:-)

What carb and exhaust is fitted ?

Had 80 mph + with the 35 TMX Mikuni and Franspeed Race with 4:8.1 gearing

30mil carb, 4.8 final drive, 130 main, X13 top clip and a super tourer... I found 4.6 hard work some don't

The speed was tacken with a phone app so it could be wrong but the distance was spot on. My mate was on a 25bhp+ TS1 and I don't think he was gonna catch up :D My bike puts out about 21bhp or did....

As Adam would say, all the parts of an engine working together.
a pipe is only as good as the gearing you run with it and visa versa.

Hi mick1

What jetting do you have? Apologies if you have already posted in this super long thread.

I'm considering blowing the cobwebs off mine and trying a TMX35

Thx

25 PJ
57 needle (not sure which clip but think top ?)
290 MJ
Breathsweet filter

The Mikuni makes a massive difference to the 30mm PHBH that was on, more responsive and more top end, completely transformed the performance.

been on 2 x dynos. One got 22.8 hp the other was 21.7 hp. The lower one was a freebie at the York SC do and he only took it to 7k rev's (I've had to 7.5k on the road)
