The fact that this kit was posting much the same times and speeds at the shootout as posted in roadtests of the Yam RD250E when it was new backs up the power claims. It did it time and again in a road scooter that was ridden home.

You'd be crazy not to get the whole kit to save a few quid.

PS Camlam are excellent dealers and replaced a mugello that had blown due to faulty rings without any quibble at all. I'd certainly feel safe buying from them.

Couldn't agree more! There are going to be people that want to play with it though no matter how much is said and if they want to do that thats fine in my opinion as long as they dont slag it off if their engine goes tits up!

Now where have i put that clubman!

The Super Monza is the first total solution engine ever to be built from start to finish with one thing in mind. Non stop performance from the moment you open the throttle, the torque delivered by this engine is second to none, and provides levels of performance never seen from a Lambretta engine.
torque second to none?? it might be a mighty figure but i wouldnt put money on you producing more torque at that cc than one of RS tuning hand crafted engines. maybe if the super monza wipes the floor with RS at next years scooter shoot out the purveyers of said , admiiedly lovely looking kit can make a statement like that but i certainly wouldnt put money on that happening, in fact id happily put a 100 of my hard earned the other way...
