I have an Indian Battery tray to fit to my Indian GP frame .Has anyone any solutions for attaching it to the frame tube without welding. I prefer not to have to take it apart and clean the crap off.

how clean and tidy is the scooter? how visible is it???

one possible way to mount things that I have used in emergencies, then left for ever and a day as it worked LOL, is jubilee clip, I had to attach a battery to a mates bike, had literally 10 minutes to do it, so we knocked up a mount for it, couple of slots cut through the mount to line up with the frame tube, then 2 good quality jubilee clamps, was a temp fix to get home from Lostallo in Switzerland as no one had the right size battery, and we were already late coming home. that bike evolved into a rat/survival bike and the battery was still there 8 years later.
