Morning all, I'm getting my Lammy MOT'd next friday and i can't get the speedo to work. If i attach a drill to the inner cable and spin it the needle moves in the speedo unit and if i put a small hex key in the end of the worm drive, it spins when i rotate the wheel by hand, however as soon as i connect the cable and spin the wheel nothing happens. Help please.

The outer maybe too long. I had this and took some off the outer.

Anyway, it doesn't get tested at an MOT

I did wonder how they tested the speedo, i'll try trimming the outer and see if that does the trick, i've got a MB digital one on order so not too bother if i get it working or not i was just worried it would fail the MOT. Thanks for your comment Pete
