Evening all, Is it possible to get an unregistered scooter MOT'd or insured without a registration number? Thanks in advance Pete
Yes you can. The garage will use the frame no.

Cheers for that, now to find a scooter friendly MOT centre, can anyone recommend one in the Farnborough / Aldershot areas? Cheers Petevespanic wrote:Yes you can. The garage will use the frame no.
i done this years ago if i recall there was a time limit where you had to forward a reg number ,best to check it out mate .
You can get an MOT on the frame number, no problem. Once you have got that apply for your V5, when you have the date of your inspection appointment you can then insure, I would suggest that the insurance starts no more than a week before the inspection date, they get really stroppy after 2 weeks and no reg number....
