Hi you guys,

I have a Lambretta LI 125 Special and offcourse we need to tune it a bit.

What do you think about installing an 186 Imola in combination with a Crankshaft -BGM Pro HPC 60mm stroke, 110mm con-rod- Lambretta DL/GP 125-250ccm.

I am sure i want te Imola not sure about the crankshaft.

Any ideas?

Hi Leyers,
I ran an Imola with an MB 110 mm rodded crank for years, it was the smoothest lammy I ever ridden and was very reliable. If you can afford the MB cranks then treat yourself, failing that try the black MEC crank or buy a regular Indian crank and get it split / repressed with the rod of your choice. I needed a 2mm packing plate for the regular meteor piston sold with the kit, and I never used a head gasket. matched with a 28mm phbh, it ran with a clubman, scootrs and jl4 equally well.
I am now rebuilding it after many years/miles with an rd350lc piston on the 110 rod.
Hope that helps

I'm running one of the new BGM 60/110 cranks and I can't fault it. But if an Imola is anything like a Mugello V4 then you may have dramas....
How come phonetics isn't spelt with an 'f'?
